We use a high end slide scanner with a batch feeder so we are able to price ourselves very competitively to other scanning services.

       We believe that it is very important to try and preserve the best quality possible when preserving images that have a potentially eternal digital life. Therefore, we scan ALL our slides at 4000+ and save them at highest quality jpg settings. It would be extremely unlikely that you need this resolution at this point but it is very probable that in the near future, there will be. This is not a process you will likely repeat at a later point. 4000 dpi is approximately the resolution that a slide transparency can theoretically produce.
